In My Mind I'm Goin' to Carolina...

Over Memorial Day weekend, we flew to Charlotte, NC to visit our good friends, Scott and Betsy, and their daughter Charlie, who is about a month younger than Aaron.  Aaron was such a good boy on the plane.  No crying at all.  Instead, he spent most of his time sleeping or flirting with the passengers in nearby seats.

Once we got to NC, the kiddos were very interested in each other.  Aaron really enjoyed squeezing Charlie's face:

Aaron also had his first swimming pool experience, shaded from the hot North Carolina sun by an inflatable sun roof:

At first he was a little unsure...

...but eventually he warmed up to it...

...and the two of them splashed away!

He especially liked the water hose!

We also took a trip to a white water rafting park with live music and fireworks.

Aaron watched the rafters...

...tried the local cuisine...

...and fell asleep early.
