We went up there with our good friends Ryan and Michelle Moroney, and their adorable son Gabe, who is Jill's age. The plan was to put the babies in my parents' little cabin, and for the adults and Aaron to tough it out in the tents (although Michelle and I may have cheated and moved to the cabin in the middle of the night...just to check on the babies of course!).
We made sure to squeeze in lots of classic camping activities, including:
Hanging out by the waters' edge
Climbing up into the "treehouse"
Grilling corn on the cob
Relaxing in the hammock
Playing with friends
Taking naps in strange places
Stick sword fighting
Swimming in the lake
Snuggling up in a towel on the boat
Pouring beer on Daddy's head....wait what?!
Well, Daddy did say he wanted to create memories, and this was certainly a fun camping experience that we won't forget!
