Snowy Valentines

Valentine's Day brought a special treat to Chicago: fresh snow!  We had to hurry up and take advantage of it before the city dogs beat us to it (if you know what I mean).  It's been a relatively mild winter this year, so the kids were excited to bundle up and pull the sleds out of storage.

Every time we zip him up in this snow suit, he reminds me of that kid from A Christmas Story

Danny's first time on a sled.  He loved it!

Jill just kept squealing with delight.  It felt like Elsa was right there with us!

After our snow adventure, we enjoyed a not-particularly-romantic but oh-so-fun picnic dinner in the basement: homemade pizza, the Little Mermaid, and lots of love!
