I'm a little behind, but a few weeks ago there was a nationwide coordinated march to protest gun violence and the NRA. It was called the March for our Lives. I didn't take the kids with me this time, but they helped me get pumped up before I left!
There were a lot of different sign options/drafts.
Civic engagement starts young!
Seriously.
My reasons for marching.
At the march, I was joined by a large group of friends and family -- and about 85,000 other people! It felt so good to be a part of this movement that will hopefully result in better gun laws and a safer world for our kids.
Enough is enough!
Me and my favorite marching buddy (her signs are always so clever and deep). Together, we can change the world!
