Barnyard Moosical

One of the many casualties of this pandemic was the musical--sorry, I mean "Moosical"--that Jill's class was going to put on.  The whole First Grade was involved, and each class had their own special song to sing about a particular barnyard animal.  Jill's class was going to sing "When Pigs Fly."  She practiced endlessly and was incredibly excited for the performance.  She even got chosen for a speaking part!  Alas.

But even though her big debut was cancelled, she was more than willing to perform for us at home (several times!).  And since she's Jill, she knew not just her own lines, but everyone else's lines; and not just her own class's song, but every other class's song.  The world is your stage, little girl!
