Aaron and Jill tried sleepaway camp for the first time! We sent them to the YMCA Santa Maria for six days/nights, and while they were a little nervous at drop-off, they were ready for some adventure. Thankfully, they each had good friends in their cabins so they weren't totally on their own. Best of all, they looked out for each other during the week and, according to Aaron, Jill bragged to everyone who would listen that he was her brother 💗
There were no phones or screens allowed at camp, but thankfully there was a photo stream that we nervous parents could check obsessively for confirmation that our kiddos were doing well:
Aaron and Jill were all smiles at pickup and both said they want to do it again next year. Success!
