We have two middle-schoolers and a fourth grader! The start to this school year was a bit weird and staggered, with the kids starting on different days and staying for different amounts of time. So I guess they each got their own special "first day" experience.
Jill's first day of middle school was a half-day orientation. She got to ride with one of her besties, Anna.
And afterward, they were treated to a special lunch date to celebrate!
Danny is the only Broyles left at Mitchell. He let us walk him to school on his first day, and he even held my hand when he thought no one was looking.
As a seasoned seventh grader, Aaron got to start a day later than his siblings. He very much enjoyed getting to sleep in while they marched off to school. But the next day, he joined the ranks. And just like that, summer is over!
