"I'm On A Boat"

Chris's parents have a house up in northern Wisconsin that we love to visit.  It's a nice oasis from the hustle and bustle of Chicago, and a chance for Chris to catch up on his all-time favorite pasttime: fishing.  This was Aaron's first trip up to the lakehouse, and he loved it as much as we hoped he would.  He has definitely inherited his daddy's love of the outdoors.

 Aaron spent some quality cuddling time with daddy in the hammock.

He read stories with Nana in the mornings.

We went for walks and Aaron enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

He fed the ducks and played on the dock.

He looked pretty cute in his baby life jacket.

But it was a little hard to move in it, so we let him use a mommy-life-jacket instead.  And he had fun swimming with his cousins, Nate and Alyssa.

The highlight of the visit was his first trip on the boat.  Aaron absolutely loved the feeling of the wind in his face.  Again, just like daddy.

It was sad to say goodbye to Nana and Papa, but we'll be back again soon!
