We haven't gotten much snow in Chicago yet, but thanks to the "lake effect" my parents have gotten several inches in their neighborhood (with the added bonus that it wasn't immediately covered in dog pee, unlike Chicago). So the kids got their first real experience playing in the snow. They loved it!
Well, maybe not at first.
But she warmed up to it (pun intended).
Both kids enjoyed riding on the sled...
...despite the occasional mishap.
Faster, Daddy! Faster!
After sledding, there was some sliding.

Oma taught Aaron all the tricks. He would have stayed outside all day if we'd let him.
