Four years ago today, we learned what it really means to love someone more than yourself. To feel your heart ache just at the sight of someone. To be willing to sacrifice everything (including, at times, your sanity) to make sure that person is safe and happy. To be a parent. Today was Aaron's fourth birthday and we continue to be so amazed at the person he is becoming. We're so proud to know you Aaron, and we love you more than words can say!
Aaron got to celebrate turning four by bringing cupcakes into school to share with his classmates, spending the day with Nana and Papa, hanging out with his cousin Nate, opening presents, and having green cake after dinner. He also has an Octonaut-themed birthday party this weekend, and all his classmates are attending (pictures to come!). Should be the preschool social event of the season!
