Ski Season

While there are some resorts that stay open until July, the Broyles family ski season has come to an end.  Most of the nearby slopes will start shutting down in the next week or two, and we are setting our sights on summer (despite the snowy forecast for this week).  So here are some snapshots from our first full ski season in Colorado:

Waiting for the shuttle.

It's really hard to take a good group photo when your skis keep getting in the way.

Lift lines really weren't too bad for most of the season - partly because of the covid reservation system, but also because we were mostly able to go on weekdays.

No matter where we are, she brings the fun.

Jill and Anna riding the lift on their own (gulp).

Halfway down.

Done.  Just done.

Skiing through the trees.

Getting a boost from Daddy.

Riding the sky with my girl.

Looking like pros.

Hot chocolate break at Winter Park.

Doesn't get more gorgeous than this.  The mountains are pretty too.

Lunch break.

Nutella sandwich with a view of the halfpipe.

Can we go home yet?

The crew.

Cat nap on the lift.

Fifty degree ski days are pretty great...

...except you have to remember to put on sunscreen or this happens!

Hilltop selfie with the Smiths.

And that's a wrap on ski season.  Bring it on, summer!
