As far as I'm concerned, the best way to spend Mother's Day is with the people who made the day matter in the first place. So that's what I did.

We took the trail downtown and stopped for a quick ride on a fish...
...and a dragon.
The kids made me a bouquet of wildflowers.
Happy mother, indeed.
