Aaron was in the school spelling bee! Mitchell picked two students from each 4th and 5th grade class to compete, and Aaron was one of the selections. Unfortunately, parents couldn't attend (because Covid), but the event was livestreamed so we could still watch.
Aaron did great! He was the last 4th grader to be eliminated, and most importantly, he stayed confident, did his best, and had fun! He correctly spelled "absent" and "deceptively" -- but was eliminated when he left the "u" out of "infectious." And honestly, we are all so sick of hearing that word that I feel like it deserved to be misspelled anyway. So proud of our boy!!!
