Hoop Dreams

Aaron just wrapped up his first real basketball season - and he loved it so much he shed a few tears when it was over!  It might have helped that he had the best coach in the league (i.e., Daddy), and that many of his buddies were on the team, and that he also happens to have some natural talent.

That said, the season started off rather slow.  Most of the boys had never played before.  But thanks to Chris's coaching skills and the boys' determination and hard work, they were winning most of their games by the end and eventually placed 4th in the league!

He shoots, he scores!

In addition to playing their hearts out every week, they got to do a few fun activities, including going to Ball Arena as a team to watch the Nuggets.

Watching warmups.

Dabbing for good luck.

At the end of the season, we celebrated with trophies, photo ops, and a mother-son basketball game at the Maxwells' house (no pictures were taken, unfortunately).  The moms emerged victorious this time, but I'm sure our advantages won't last for long.  These boys are on the road to greatness!

Letting it all loose.
