Jill celebrated her last birthday in the single-digits! It was also her first birthday in the new house, so there was a lot to be excited about. She had a "painting party" which I initially envisioned doing outside on the back patio. But the weather had other plans for us (see below).

So, thanks to the springtime snowstorm, we had to move the painting inside (gulp). Thankfully, our dining room table had just been delivered a few days before, so we actually had a place for everyone to sit!

Our growing girl has been honing her baking skills lately. So she insisted on helping to bake and frost her own cake.
