Cousin Nate came to visit for the first time! We showed him around Golden, hiked South Table Mountain, hung out in the hot tub, took him to Jill's Christmas Story play, and introduced him to skiing. He'd never done it before but he did great. Even when we got stuck in some moguls and he took a few tumbles, he never stopped smiling.
While Nate was in town, we also rang in the new year with good friends, good food, good bubbly, and lots of games.
The Goffs, Willifords, Ciziks, Bailesses, Broyles, and Maxwells.
While the adults (and the girls) played celebrity/fishbowl upstairs...
...the middle school boys got rowdy downstairs.
But we all came together when it was time to watch the ball drop.
