One of the cool things about Aaron's middle school is their NASA Hunch program. "Hunch" is a pseudo-acronym for "High schools United with NASA to Create Hardware." Yes, you read that right: high schools. But Aaron gets to do it in middle school!
He applied and was selected for the Hunch program, which allows him to design and build equipment to meet the needs of real humans in outer space. Specifically, his team is working on a design for a jumping space robot that astronauts can use to take panoramic pictures on the moon😲
Here are some pics from his Preliminary Design Review, which took place last week. The goal is to be one of the teams selected to present their design to actual NASA representatives in Houston!!!
