Now that we have a high schooler, we are being introduced to a whole new side of Golden. Homecoming, it seems, is a community affair! The GHS homecoming parade goes right down Washington street (the whole town comes out to cheer and watch), and then the homecoming football game is played at the School of Mines field (the parents all sit together in their own section and have just as much fun as the students).
The only thing that's not all-inclusive is the homecoming dance. Parents are definitely not invited to that one! But thankfully, Aaron tolerated a few pictures before heading off to meet up with his friends...leaving me behind wondering what the heck happened to my bald little baby boy 😭
