Danny Is One!!!

Unbelievable.  Our little meatball turned one today.  I know I sound like a broken record but...how has it been a year already?!  This kid has brought so much joy, energy, and sunshine to our lives, it's impossible to imagine our family without him.

Danny got to celebrate his big day with his buddy, Sawyer, who was born only six days later.  They had a joint birthday party at an indoor playspace in our neighborhood.

There was a great setup for the kids to eat...

...which was important because there was a lot of cake!

And there was an awesome play area for the kids.  And play they did!

They climbed

and crammed

and jumped

and tumbled

and kicked

and balanced 

and chased bubbles

and rolled around on top of a parachute 

and rolled around underneath a parachute 

and danced their hearts out!

Danny got a lot of love from friends and family...

...sometimes a little too much!

And then it was time to bring out the cake

The candle-blowing moment didn't go quite as planned, but (let's be honest) it went about as expected.
