In Denver, Danny had many adventures, including riding the train from the airport, visiting the Geology Museum, going for a trolley ride downtown, cheering for me while I ran a 5K at 7,000 feet, and meeting lots of new friends.
So this is the wild, wild west?
What's so special about this rock?
Ding ding, here we come!
Our "only child" for the weekend
Proud finishers of the Indian Hills 5K (which had way more hills and way less oxygen than I'm used to)!
Cute in Colorado
Hanging out with friends at a brewery in Golden, CO
So much love!
There's something suspicious about this...these girls are wayyy too nice to me.
Danny sandwich.
In good hands.
Even Mozart needs a helping hand.
Triple lunch date!
Our friends generously offered to babysit Danny for us while we went to the wedding. And as if that weren't enough, Jenna is quite a talented photographer, so she took some beautiful photos of us and our little guy as we were getting ready to leave for the event.
Here's a quick shot of Chris and me at the wedding. We didn't have any kids with us (obviously), but I had to suck in pretty hard to look good in my dress so I felt like my children made their presence felt the whole night!
At the end of the weekend, we were sad to say goodbye to our wonderful friends and the beauties of Colorado. But we were pretty excited to get back home to these to patriotic kiddos.
Happy Fourth of July!
