All three kids went to overnight camp this summer and loved it. Aaron tried a two-week camp called Geneva Glen, and Jill and Danny spent one week at YMCA Santa Maria. They all learned valuable lessons about friendship, self-reliance, resilience, and teamwork. Chris and I, on the other hand, learned that we are not ready to be empty-nesters. We sure did miss them!
But I guess we'd better get used to it because we've already been informed that they all want to go again next summer. After seeing some of the pictures posted to the camp websites, I can see why...
