There was a lot of hype leading up to this day. Aaron's preschool teacher did a home visit; there was a school ice cream social where he met all of his classmates; and we have been talking a lot about how much fun he is going to have. So needless to say, Aaron was pretty excited when the big day finally arrived:

After our photo session, Chris and I took Aaron out for some hot chocolate and a cake pop (his all-time favorite) before heading to school.
Once we finally got there, he could hardly contain his excitement.
He got the giggles when we tried to take a picture with his teacher.

And then, it was time for the parents to leave. Aaron got a little quiet as we were saying goodbye, but the only tears shed were by me and Chris. We are so incredibly proud of our brave boy, and we can't wait to see how much he learns and grows this year. We love you Aaron Christopher!
