Happy Anniversary!

Exactly one year ago today, Aunt Christy and Uncle Ben got married!  I wanted to post pictures of the wedding a long time ago, but as the matron of honor who was also mother of the ring bearer and flower girl (not to mention pregnant and puking), I didn't get a chance to take many pictures myself.  So I was waiting on the professional prints.  Unfortunately, the wedding photographer turned out to be a bit of a jerk (to put it mildly), so it took awhile before Aunt Christy was able to share them.  But if you're allowed up to a year to send a wedding gift, the same should apply to blog posts, right?  So I'm just in time!

Anyway, what better way to celebrate Aunt Christy and Uncle Ben's first year of marriage than to share some of the pictures of that special day; and, on a more selfish note, provide further photographic evidence of how adorable my children are (not biased at all).  It's unbelievable how much they have changed since then!

Moments before we were about to walk down the aisle, Jill had a fall and bumped her head.  She freaked and wouldn't let me put her down, so I had to carry the flower girl and her cute little "Here Comes The Bride" sign.

For months afterward, Aaron kept asking me where "his" rings were.

One of the few moments during the ceremony when I wasn't holding Jill.

Oh wait, here she comes.

She decided my carefully coiffed hair could use a few extra cracker crumbs.

Then it was time for the reception!

Saying a few nice words about Mrs. Burgess

Aaron wasn't a big fan of my speech apparently.  Either that or he was hungry...

And then it was time to dance!  Of course, blankie had to be included...

...and so did dolly.

I cannot get over how much Jill has changed since then.  I must say, her dolly looks pretty different now too (like it's been run over by a truck a few times).

Now that's the sign of a fun night!

What a great wedding for a great couple!  We love you Aunt Christy and Uncle Ben!  Now, when do we get some cousins...?
