For Christmas, we got a membership to Brookfield Zoo. It's a nice change of pace from Lincoln Park Zoo, with a few more attractions and exotic animals, including my favorite: an okapi! On a particularly hot day in June, the kids and I went on an adventure. It started at the zoo, where the highlight was getting to ride the carousel and feed the giraffes. Then, since it was so incredibly hot, we cooled off by taking Danny to see first movie in a theater: Incredibles 2!
